I passed the motorcycle safety class this past May and purchased a 2002 savage, I love it and I really appreciate this forum. I am a new rider, all of 220 miles, and have a question about cornering. The class scared the be-jee-bees out of us when it came to braking in a turn...they painted the picture that you will go down if you do it. Can you brake safely in turns? If it isn't an emergency brake, can you ease the brake in turns and what percentage of front vs. back? Any advice for a newbie would be appreciated.
